To Houston With Love

Iconotheatrix presents To Houston With Love, a one night only fundraising event, on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Stages Repertory Theatre. The evening will celebrate Houston through a showcase of young, local talent, a raffle of various items (including Whataburger for a year), and bar by donation. Doors open at 7PM for the bar and the raffle. The entertainment will begin at 8PM.

ITX is also excited to announce that we will be joined by special guest Christina Wells from season 13 of America's Got Talent. There will be a Christina Wells raffle basket on hand to win and Christina will perform some of her signature numbers at the event!

Tickets for To Houston With Love are being sold on a donation base with a suggested donation of $20. Pre-sale tickets are available below The event will be held at Stages Repertory Theatre (600 Rosine St., Houston, TX 77019). Tickets sold before the event include raffle tickets. For a twenty dollar donation, you will receive 2 raffle tickets and admission. For $50, you  receive 5 raffle tickets and admission. For $100 you receive 10 raffle tickets and admission. Tickets purchased at the door will be sold separately from raffle tickets.

The talent for the evening will consist of familiar faces to the ITX stage. They include Joseph ConchaJackie CortinaKarson DavisErin DoyleMackensey DoyleDaniela GarrettJanson HanesAlex KerryOwen LeeCharlie McCoyGia OchsenbeinCourtlin ParisherLauren Weinberger, and the cast of Icontheatrix' upcoming production of [title of show]. The show will be led by the Iconotheatrix creative team. 

All proceeds from To Houston With Love will benefit the recently announced 2018-2019 Iconotheatrix season, which includes [title of show]Songs for a New World, and Chicago (High School Edition).

“The mission of Iconotheatrix is to bridge the gap between educational and professional theatre. We provide an authentic artistic experience in a safe, inclusive environment for young adults. Through bold and innovative theatrical productions and community outreach, our students are a part of the positive progression of the growing Houston theatre economy.” Iconotheatrix made it's debut in December of 2014 with their inaugural cabaret, Iconotheatrix: A Prologue. The cabaret kick-started ITX and allowed it to produce their first full production, RENT, in May of 2015. Since then, Iconotheatrix has become a non-profit organization and produced its first full season in 2016-2017 featuring Carrie: The Musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Heathers The Musical (High School Edition). In January of 2018, Iconotheatrix was awarded the Most Improved Theatre in Houston by Broadway World.
